Wassup everyone... I know someone selling a 99 Ls teg with 85k miles on it for $3500. Great deal right... but here is the main problem:

Salvage - They said it was due to theft but you can clearly tell the car has been hit before on the passenger side. The fenders dont line up all that well and the paint is not factory for sure and they don't know how bad the accident was. They said everything was fixed but I can't tell if there is frame damage. They are the 2nd owner of the vehicle. Front bumper is cracked and the motor for the passenger window is out. Also, they said they ran over a pot hole on the front passenger side and now the car is making some kind of clunking noise when you hit a bump.

What do you guys think? Worth buying or should I pass? TIA I can't really decide so maybe some input will help me choose.

if no frame damage, offer 2500.........settle for 3,000......if they dont agree...move on

be prepared to spend 2,000-3,000 to repair it

BTW i bought a salvage title teg for 3000 REPAIRED....a 1997 RS with 44,000 miles on it...

Oh man I wish they had those kind of deals here in the bay area . I think I'm going to go for it. This teg is repaired as well and is clean inside and out except for the small crack on the front bumper. I know I'm going to have a lot to do in my spare time now

you look like you might have an even BETTER deal on your hands..... 85k isnt much on an engine, and even if it DOES go bad, LS motors are a dime a dozen......if you dont get it, i will
