For a daily driver 1990 CRX, what is the ideal width and offset? I plan to fit perhaps 5.5" or 6" wide wheels. What is the stock wheel width for CRX's?
I like Volk Racing and Racing Hart wheels for their lightness. Mugens are good too.

Well, the stock offset on most Honda wheels from what I know is 45. For your application, pretty much anything from 42 to 45 should fit with no problem, and most people with 15"s can go to 38's and not have any trouble. Most of the wheels you mentioned are available in the highter offsets...I think most Mugen's are somewhere from 43-45.

REX VT: Question - this may sound dumb, but why would you recommend a wider wheel to have less offset? Wouldn't you want it to have more offset (higher number)? I thought when offset is higher, it means the wheel is going to be further in towards the center of the car so it won't rub on the fender...I dunno, maybe you got the #'s mixed up or I'm just plain wrong...
