yes i did search like 10 times, but whats your highway speeds and rpms with a b16a and the tranny you got with it. i live in socal, and before i had my job and all that bs i use to skate in esco which is like an hour from where i am and would do 90-100 the whole way there, even with people passing me. the only time i would do under 80 was hills, cus a 89 sentra running on 3 cylinders sucks (est. 60 hp, maybe even less). even saw a excursion pass me once when i was at 100. most likely ill keep the stock tranny (once i get it) till it goes then get a ls cus i hate driving under 75.

 

There are easily 1/2 a dozen different B16 compatible trannys...which one are you asking about? Most of them are pretty tightly geared and not ideal for highway cruising.

90-100 is a doozy of a ticket. If you spend a lot of time cruising these speeds, eventually, you will get popped. To any cop/judge, "but other people were doing it" isn't a valid defense.

What you want is a B16 tranny with an LS 5th gear.
