I have some money and once my car sells I am going to buy 99-00 EK and was wondering what people think is the best motor set-up for around $5,000? I do have a LS block and internals sitting around, but not sure if a built LS-Vtec is the way to go or not.

I say sell the block and your car and with the 5k buy a better car.

hey cmon what does it matter at this point? you dont think i was serious do you? honestly though if you have 5gs as well as enough to buy an ek, why not just buy a used rsx type s? its got a sixspeed gearbox

i'm not an 04 (close enough though)... and if you don't consider the cost of the two motors... K is definately superior to the H series.
