Default Gsr swap+96 hatch=pain in the ***!

Just venting a little frustration. Got my swap bolted in and now the bitch won't fire up. Turns over and has a dim check engine light? What the hell is that. Light goes out but is dim at first turn? I even have a genuine honda technician leading the swap. Ohh well, tomorrow is another day with more sunlight.

Most not be to "genuine" if they can't solve the problem. Once the light comes on from cranking, does it stay on?

Kinda Funny, Sounds a little like my situation.

Check to see if you have your cable grounded from the tranny side.

Tach pickup is in the dist.. I would say to check to make sure no loose connections there. Code 65 is the secondary O2. did you even hook this up?

I'd say you either have the wrong thing plugged into the IACV or you still have a wiring issue and possibly a bad ground linked to that circuit. I've never seen a bad IACV either, so I don't know if it would cause it to toss a code. I am pretty sure it would since its nothing more then a solenoid... I would say to try swapping IACV's first, if you still have same problem, check the connector to make sure its the right one, then investigate possible ground/wiring issues.
