tried posting this on another forum, but didn't get any technical results.. so I'm hoping that someone here can help me.

I've got a 95 Del Sol Si, and I have a trunk floor brace that goes across the spare tire and bolts up to where the two factory bolts are located (one on each side of the spare tire).

I tried to do the install the other day, but when I crawled under the car, I could not find an access point to the two bolts (the exhaust and muffler was also in the way).

I'm wondering if anyone here has done this mod and can help me out. thanks!

 

doesn't it go inside the trunk usually ?

 

yeah, it does go in the trunk. I crawled under the car to see where the bolts would come out, cause I'll have to screw the nut onto the bolt, but couldn't see anything.
