LMAO No No they are Not. A&J is the ONLY Authorized North American Distributor of Spoon. Inline four was only able to order direct, for a short time, because of a screw up in the new export department at Spoon. After the New Year They and others were Cut Off.

The only Autorized Spoon Retailers are A&J, IPS and R&D

 

A&J isn't even in the states, kinda sucks paying taxes twice, from japan-canada-us doesn't really make sense. There are also other authorized distributors set up in japan with american offices.

I have spoon EG mirrors in stock for 300, I can get the DC's but to be honest the damn EG ones can't sell as is. IF you want let me know.

 

Does Spoon even put those mirrors on their R? I've never seen their R with those...

If A&J, IPS, and R&D are the only Authorized Spoon Retailers, than how do places like JDMHondaparts.com sell Spoon?

Their Street versions Do Not use them, Their Race cars do.

naw. it was 2001 CW itr rhd in japan. looked really shiny

 

got mine from JDM honda parts

I figured since my questions were answered, we could lock it, that way it would not be in the way of more important or other questions other members might have.

 

AJR is the official importer of Spoon for the North American Market. IPS Racing and RandDmotorsports are authorized by AJR to sell Spoon and get their product from AJR who gets it directly from Spoon. As for buying from AJ-R in Canada, I bought a honda access lip from them and I didn't pay double taxes.

All other shops who sell Spoon are selling GREY MARKET products, items that Spoon never intended to get into the North American Market. If you can buy a particular brand of something everywhere, it cheapens its value not to mention make the company look like it has no idea where its product is going. Basically, AJR is to Spoon like what King Motorsports is to Mugen. And we all know tough it is to get Mugen stuff from any place other than King.

to Ben @AJR, I think it was, for having the nuts to hang as long as he did in the Type-One grounding cable thread. I remember a couple of weeks before there a thread on Mugen vs. stock ITR valvesprings and there was no response at all from King Motorsports!!
