Default what ecu to run with an ek h22a??

as the title says i need to know which would be the best ecu. I just got jacked for my ecu and i need another one. i was running a p28 chipped before, only because that's the ecu that the guy gave me when he did the swap. the car is missing a lot sensors, i think the knock sensors are gone too. correct me if im wrong but if you use the p28, you will eliminate the use of the knock sensors right? and if you use the p13 and are missing the knock sensors then your car will run like ****?.....thanks guys!!
