how would you go about smogging an obd2 car with an obd 1 motor?

if you are able to pass visual, is it possible to smog it?

 

what motor and car do u have and the years of both?

 

the car is a 96 the head says its a 96? but arent 96 motors ob2? anyways its an ob1 motor

 

ya 96's are obd2. what motor and head do u have. i dont feel like playing games. next time give details, it will go a lot faster

 

its a friends motor i think its a gen 2 obd1 japanese b16

he cant legally pass it cuz the block makes the motor obd1. in order to make it legal he would have to get an obd2 block 96-97 del sol or 99-00 si b16s

You're in CA, hes gonna fail smog.

 

he would have to get an obd2 swap, get it bar'd and then smog it unless he has a friend that can hook him up with smog. otherwise hes gonna fail

 

there's 300 reason to passed it if u know what i mean.
