I look in the haynes book and it says it is the vehicle speed sensor and the needle of the speedometor dosent move when I drive. And also when the car is in neutral the idle goes up and down. what I mean is the needle jumps from 1000 to 3000 rpms. It does this when the car warms up and in neutral. Please help!

 

Jumping idle might be your ICV(idle control valve)took a crap

 

well fix your speedo then...check the back of the cluster and see if its in and same with tranny...

idle and speedo are different things...

toubleshoot the vss, then worry about the idle issue.

like mentioned above it could be tps sensor related. vaccum leaks. etc

The ecu light blinks 16 and 17 times now. Once 16 times than it stops for about 2-3 seconds and than 17 times. I changed the injectors and the idle did the samething again, it jumps up and down from 1000 to 2000 rpms. I don't know what it is
