NASA FIR April 23-24 pictures
Ok I finally had a chance to attend the track a snap a few pictures of the local drivers having fun. These were taken on Sunday. I have more pictures to follow once I get my other memory card. Enjoy.

Thanks for the pics of the race group. Those are hard to come by ever since the drifters started attending. The only problem with them is that both pictures I'm in show me losing!

it wasn't a designated drifting corner... too many concrete walls, its kinda a blind turn and its actually the start to a 1/4 mile strip.

because NASA says no drifting on that corner. too many surface changes just in that one corner alone.

i don't understand this comment? drifters and racers do not run in the same group so how are pics harder to come by?

Hi Edik,
Yes... that was Varo's old chassis...
That was P1 (ITR), P2 (Audi) and P3 (CRX).....
My ITR and Mikes Honda's made up the front row : )
with the M3's and Audi behind us-You have got to love that.....
I led for most of the race till oil temps suddenly went up and the stock rod snapped going through the front of the block : O
I hope to have the new motor in by the May 7/8 race but with aftermarket rods.
I haven't run in HC this year anyway-

All I meant was that most of the pics I see posted of the events now are of the drifters. Before drifting started, they were mostly of HPDE and race group, but I guess drifting is more fun to watch.
I'll try to get some of my incar video posted soon, but it didn't turn out very well unfortunately. I think I forgot to tighten down the mount all the way, so there is a lot of vibration on the straight and I didn't have the angle right either. It was definitely not my best work. Too bad too because we had an awesome race in H4.
