94 Civic SI problam
So basically I fu*ked up my car. I knew I was going too eventually, but not as soon as I did.
Here is what happened, I was getting on the HWY winding the **** out of the car in 3rd (not racing anyone) When I shifted into 4th a **** load of blk smoke came out my exhaust. I didn't think any thing of it at the time until I got off the HWY. I hear this loud *** clanking and pulled over to see if some thing came lose. Nope, nothing. So I take it home to see if my rocker arms where knocking or my valve. Neither one of those things is the problem. I was finally able to diagnosed it to the number one piston and figured out that it is either a cracked rod or I cracked the baring in on the crank to the piston. The piston still has its compression, but there is a loud clanking noise. Could someone please give me some brief info on how hard it is to change the piston and the rod?
