NASCAR style door bars that is. I had a choice of the regular style X-bar for the door bars or a NASCAR style door bar. I am very satisfied with the NASCAR style door bar and highly suggest it, elbow room is much better than other cages I have raced in, it feels like the driver is more protected with the bars being in the door, and it looks super cool IMO.

Really? I've actually noticed the opposite.

Nice cage. Can you supply pics from other angles? I'm asuming your not re-installing the dash with this...
Do you have to stretch before you attempt sliding into the driver seat?
Cage looks good!

I agree, this cage is much easier to get in and out of in a hurry. The X-brace style cage gives the driver less room to sqweeze in and out of.
As far as series...I am building this car to NASA specifications so I can attend various HPDEs, schools, track days, etc. until I find out what I want series I want to run in. Kind of a different way...but I am the type that tries anything and does not know what I want until I try it and see how it feels.
