Default hondata write up needed!

Hi I have jdm h22a ob1 prelude. My question is if I buy a s200 with boost option how do I instal it or is it just solder in the chip? I know I need to get a p28, but how would I instal it myself. I've done vafc's, alarms, car audio, nitrous so I know how to work on electronics. what need to be done. The reason iam asking is that iam going away from no2 "nos" and going turbo. I sold my nos and vafc2. Everyone says to get hondata so I going that way. Also can I use the hondata s200 With boost without my turbo for now?

When you buy the hondata the place u bought it from should be able to "socket" the ECU. A ZIF Socket needs to be installed and i believe a jumper has to be removed depending if its an automatic ECU or 5spd.

Also currently hondata can only be used on OBD1 P28 ECU or P72 ECU.

The P28 should work just fine and should be readily available on the FS threads.

It does require soldering/desoldering. Id let someone else do it.

well does the "blue box" require any type or wiring? No, it plugs into the ECU. I was going off what you asked. I didnt know you needed me to spell it out word for word an exact retard acceptable answer. lol , good luck!

Actually, if you have an H22A, you really should look for a P72. The P28 won't deal with your IAB, or with your knock sensor.

Of course, since you are going turbo, the IAB and knock are less of a concern, but it'd be nice to have until your setup is installed.
