i just bought some b-series motor mounts from some guy for $300 shipped. he says they are hasport mounts but they don't say hasport on them. so how can i tell if its hasport or not? if they arent hasport then what are they? heres the link to a pic of them...yes i know the pic is kinda poor.

so i got ripped off huh? they look a little used too. that guy told me it was the hasport mounts with orange polyurethane.

 

Yep, you got screwed. Hope you're not going turbo, it's much harder to fit with that kit because the engine is almost a full inch forward compared to a Hasport kit. At least you got the newest generation HCP mounts though, could be worse, you could have gotten first gen.

Those are not HCP mounts. Do those mounts have 2 braces on them? If so, they are not HCP mounts.

 

yup those are definitely not HCPs or HASports......i got a set just like that....where did you get it at?.....i bought mine when i bought my motor from venus recycling....he sold it to me for 200 bucks....they are holding up alright so far

 

Those are Hasport knock-offs. They aren't HCP or Hasport originals.
Aslong as your motor sits straight your o.k. Atleast they are urethane so not having the front mount won't make too much difference. You should be o.k.

i was looking at the rear hcp mount at the hcp website and my rear mount doesnt like like theirs. if looks like the hasport one. so i guess they are hasport knock-offs. well they guy who sold it to me said they were hasport. damn bastard.

his name is Sai. he sounded like a nice guy and knew what he was talking about on the phone. i asked him if they were brand new hasports and he said yea. turned out its neither brand new or hasport.

sorry i don't know much about him. i just know his work number. he works at a shop that does swaps so he should know if these mounts were real hasport or not.
