Default Problems Removing Knuckle/Halfshafts

Taking out the D15 in preparation for my LS swap, but the passenger side knuckle refuses to come out of the lower control arm. I'm kinda nervous about beating on it too hard because of the possibility of messing up the threads, but I am at a loss on what to do with it. Put heat to it, PB blaster, put the jack underneath with some upwards pressure for a few hours, nothing. The other side popped right off, 3 whacks and it was done. Any ideas? Also, is there a special trick you guys use to get the axles out of the tranny? The driver's side one seems to be kinda stubborn too

use a ball joint seperator
use a large screw driver or small pry bar for the tranny.

well for me..all i really do is whack it with a small sledge hammer on the side of the LCA where the ball loint are held in..and if needed i would spray some wd40 or so and let it sit for about a minute or two then i just whack it with a good amount of strength. and it should work..

Yeah you might wanna break down and rent a separator. My local stores only had the pickle fork type but the manual says the "two jaw puller" is ideal......I've never seen one in person

Yeah, I was trying to get out of buying more tools, but I ended up breaking down and buying a pickle fork and Crafstman prybar set, I sprayed some PB blaster, heated it up good, and with the pickle fork, the first whack undid it, and it worked well on the tie rod ends as well. Axles came right out, and besides the alternator hitting the brake booster/reservoir on the way out, the engine lifted right out. Now to drop the LS motor in :D Pics to come, thanks for the help.
