Default Almost no power increase ???

Hello, some time ago I decided to mount a complete exhaust system to my civic EK4 '2000 B16A2:

header - supersprint 4-2-1 (outlet 2.00' outer diameter)
stainless steel ehhaust - 2.25 ' inner diameter, no cat, straight-thru middle muffler 2.25', straight-thru end muffler 2.25'. I also mounted an "ebay" air intake system.

I went for a dyno run: 155.1 HP 141 NM before exhaust and intake (my stock header was badly dented).

Two weeks after:

My question is - why it is less than stock 111 lb-ft and 900 rpm lower? What can be the cause of lack of power increase.

The engine has a 100.000 km mileage, burns about 0.25L of oil / 5000km. The pressure is equal on all cylinders, no check engine issues... I'm confused

So you say that it is normal, that don't even have the stock power and torque?

BTW I was thinking about buying a better header. I'm looking for sth that would have 2.25 inch outlet - inner diameter. Could you recomend something?

They usually rate the power as flywheel power from the factory, what you have is wheel horse power, so you can expect it to be less. Also it's just an intake and exhaust, get some cams or fix your engine or something and you will make more power, maybe turbo it.

Wheel hp is what rated on the dyno we normally use..... the factory rates them at the crank, which in turn gives the engine a higher output.

You need to get tuned!

Also, your header isn't that great. Get an AEM CAI, a decent header, and some engine management.

I'm planning to get tuned First thing I want to do is to buy a better header. The problem is I live in Europe... so I'll probably buy something on-line in the US. Now I haven't seen an online shop that would quote outlet diameters of different headers so I need your help here, please!. I need a header which would have a 2.25 inch outlet - I mean inner diameter. Wich brand/model should I look for. DC, Comptech? I would appreciate some links... Thx

Basic bolt-ons will not increase power by much, especially cheap, no-name bolt-ons. Especially, not on a B16.

111lb-ft of torque is a crank rating. The wheel rating is closer to 100 lb-ft....kinda sad, but what do you expect from a honda?

I had my car(b16a2) dyno'd stock and it put out 141.5whp and 100.9lb-ft.

seems like you're getting decent numbers, but every car is different as well. Those are basic bolt on modifications, i think the gain is about right.
