s2k steering wheel in eg coupe
anyone know if this is possible and what might be needed to make the swap, i can't handle this ugly pos stocker anymore but i wanna keep my airbag and my cruise control. s2k seemed to be the nicest alternative. Thanks,
Sean

The newer JDM ITR SRS Steering wheels bolt up. The only thing you have to change would be the pin for the Airbag, which isnt hard. I dont know about cruise though... you really need cruise? Lazy bastard.
Remember the JDM CTR (EK) Wheel DOES NOT bolt up to an EG. The slots on the back of the wheel are different.

i guess if i really wanted to i could go without cruise control, the big thing is more the airbag, otherwise i can't insure the car. and when you say pin for the airbag do you mean the connector? like the wiring?

he didn't clarify that "newer JDM ITR" didn't mean the DC5. he meant the later DC2 models.
in case you're wondering, the DC5 doesn't fit in the EG, but it fits into the EK.

I believe in Japan, airbag is optional, where here in america, u can't choose if u want one or not, u have to have one from the factory. the lower sterring wheel is the one without the airbag

i don't like being screwed over. but i do know that the ctr and itr wheels are indentical, the only difference between them is the spline on the back for the hub. only the ITR wheel would work in my ej, the CTR wheel would work in an EK. so now i just gotta find an itr srs wheel for a good price!
i did but all they're aren't any listed, i guess i'll just have to wait around and keep checking. if anyone hears of an JDM ITR SRS wheel for sale let me know!!
