Default Front Frame Damage: Fixable? Or Scrap the Car?

[edit new pics below]

Just last Friday, some asshat cut me off on the freeway as the road curved right. I don't even think he knew I was there, I had to hit the brakes and steer a bit to avoid hitting him but in hopes of avoiding contact with him, my tires somehow lost grip of the road, my steering wheel turning fully to the right on its own. Next thing i knew, I had a face full of 10 year old airbag in my face... The front of the car has a bit of a frame damage and I wanted you H-T experts to take a look at it and see if it's fixable or should I just scrap the car and buy another one. SOrry for the crappy arrows and circles but I just wanted to bring out where to look at... Even though the shots aren't very good...

See how the hood of the car and the bumper support frame (or whatever that frame is called) doesnt really have the same degree in their curve?

The frame here is bent.. as you can see that black rubber nub isnt pointing up anymore. =/

No the ground wire bolt isnt loose.. its still tightly stuck on the frame.. it looks angled because the frame is bent inwards.. and also you can see that black nub again...

Some more frame damage.. btw, the lower area is now more in than the upper area. giving it kind of a / slant.

Side shot of the frame...

Another shot of the side but with the hood up this time..

You guys think this is fixable ? If so, any quote or estimate on how much it might cost jsut to straighten the whole frame out?? thanks everyone ...

In this shot that is not a ground wire but just your shock tower harness. I was expecting it to be alot worse then this when I read the title. I think it is fixable and prolly be expensive though. Take some shots under the car around the bumper and frame. Then we can for sure tell you if it is fixable. But from what I have seen it is.

thats a pretty easy and inexpensive fix, use insurance money for JDM headlights and corners and fenders and fix the core support and bumper support, and an hour or 2 on a frame rack, not too bad IMO

how much might the all that cost... the thing is.. im not sure if i can get my insurance into it.. the guy that cut me off just kept on driving... to my insurance it might just seem like reckless driving on my part... plus i dont have full coverage... so i think its going to be coming out of my pocket... to fix this and wanted some quotes or esitmates...

No that would be to replace the parts, labor, and paint...If you think you can straighten the front core support out you would save a bunch. It's hard to tell from the pics if the frame was damaged.

yeah i was planning on just getting the frame straightened out... without paint... and buy the replacement parts myself.. also guys, if you guys can help... both of my airbags deployed that day, so how much might it cost to replace the dashboard... i just plan on buying a removable steering wheel to fix the steering wheel...

well a front core support from certi fit is like $50 brand new....

drill out the spot welds, take your car and have the frame straightened if there is any damage indeed, my friend needed 5 hours on a frame rack, and it cost him about $450 and his front frame was crushed, yours appears to be ok.

get a new radiator/core support, bumper support, certifit parts and have a friend or friend of a friend weld em on for $10 lol. then toss on some new OEM parts. i have headlights and stock corners and i also have a passenger side airbag in black if interested.

sure as hell does.. i did mine myself and it was hella worse!
i did a clutch change because to get to the radsupport i needed the tranny outta the way. After its out.. the sledge came down.

have some one pry/pull on the bent area with something towards the direction you want to bend it, then while there doing that you swing the sledge at it.

when i was done, i used some primer and flat black to cover up the scratches and to keep the dent marks from showing by using non-gloss paint

took 20mins
(after the tranny was out i mean)

i took a couple more snaps.. with the bumper support off... does this look like something a new radiator support would fix? also, does it seem like the frame of the car is alil bent?

That is nothing to worry about, That part of the car is considered the "KRUMPLE ZONE". It's honda's way to have people smash their cars at slow speed but with lots of damage,(or is it because it's old melted down recycled metal?)
