trunk lid lining and aftermarket spoilers
I'm about to install a fine mid thruster spoiler from WW, which attaches through 6 holes (3 on each side). My problem is the inner lining comes in the way. I must get the screws + washers through, so whoever has put this kind of spoiler can tell me how he managed to make holes big enough in the lining ? Dremel artwork ? Hole saw ?
Here's a pic from WW:

(it fits actually better than in their picture, it ends up flush with the rear quarter panels, and looks "factory like"

I'd say a combination of drill bit/dremel tool, make sure to masking tape off the outside (so to keep your paint in tact), drill from the outside and then dremel to the correct diameter.

Sorry to be off topic but since we are talking about trunk lids and spoilers, does anyone know if I could mount a OEM wing on a C/F trunk lid?

I can't imagine why not. I would use some healthy washers on the inside though... to create a bigger foot pattern. I could picture it pulling through at some point without em'.

Thanx i'll do that.
For the nay-sayers, it actually looks better than on the photo
it's rather small and compliments nicely the 'girly ***' of the 4th gen
