Default help!!!!!!!

I am having a big problem I just dropped a japs d15 into my car. Now my car keep cutting off on me, it will turn on sometime the other time it would not turn on, unless I hold the gas all the way down. When I do that it idle really low and when I let go the gas the car will die out. The funny thing is when I am driving and it is work it will kick in and out and finally die and turn off. I think it might be the Distributor or fuel pump. I tried the one it came with, my old one, and a used on from a working car. What is going on?

Check your Throttle Position Sensor and your Idle Airflow screw, it may be down too tight blocking airflow, hence the need to keep the throttle open with your foot. It's probably more than that, but that's a good starting point. When you say that you tried those parts, were you referring to the fuel pump or the distributor?

what car, what motor (there's like 80 d15s), any other mods you performed at the same time, and finally are you getting a check engine light? If so, what codes is it throwing?
