Default POLL: Which company makes the best fitting CF Hood? HELP ME CHOOSE

Alright folks, i need to know what kinda CF hood to buy, FITMENT IS CRUCIAL, im a stickler for perfect fitment.

In your opinion, which hood fits the best for the price?:

So we are talking price to fitment ratio, everyone has said seibon is best but at a wopping $700+ bucks i would hope it is... for instance if ViS fit just as well as seibon than vis would be the correct choice..

HELP ME CHOOSE!

I just bought a bodykitsnw hood and fitment is perfect. I guess they've been having tc sportline make the hood for their company. All I have to say is fitment and weave are excellent.

I have a jdmshit cf hood and it fit perfectly. All my friend and I did was bolt it up and that was that no need to adjust anything.

It's like I just want to kill the next person who posts ANOTHER eg carbon hood fitment poll

The answer to your question has laways been either VIS or FI

VIS sucks there ********, shady and they pay workers in a taiwanese sweatshop 80 bux a hood for them but they fit well

FI is much higher priced - better durability - slightly better fitment without going all ninja with the latches and harder to come by

remember that most people buy VIS b/c it's cheaper so they have no first hand experience w/ fiber images, skewing the poll.

i myself have FI and it's worth the extra money. no rolled edges , the fitment is excellent, no hood pins needed, good durability. go to fiberimages.com and watch their videos, they drive cars over their hood and damage is minimal, that's what got me to buy their hoods, they have evidence.

i have seen many vis hoods and they're not bad either, rolled edges making them thick as mud where the hood meets the oem panels and fitment is not always good. my 2 cent.

I can go teh $575 of a FI hood, but can u post some pics of yours? I have never seen one in person and any pics i can source arent closeups or good for fitment evaluation...

I have a FI hood as well, and completely agree with the above statement. I have also put a FI cf hood, and trunk onto an Evo VIII, and everything was perfect there as well! to FI from me.

I dunno the first cf hood I had was vis and it fit like ****. Not to mention it got ashy. And I knew other peoples vis that fit like **** and got ashy lol. I got a TC sportline cf hood. And it had great fitment and quality. Even compared it with vis hoods and mine was better. When I went to a different front end and sold the hood to my homie he was real happy with it and the fitment. Also VIS has the sorriest customer service ever. And I've never seen a company **** up orders quite like VIS has

I'm goin with the FI hoods on this one. Just cause I've seen there there good ****. If they had tc sportline I would go with them.

My Fiber Images Hood Sux ***. on for year and a half. Never fit right. i can stick 1/2 my hand under the hood when its shut even with hood pins. it has this nasty bow to it.

Called Fiber Images and got the run around for 3 months and i gave up. Now the hood is all faded and looks like absolute ****.

FI doesnt get **** from me.
