Default Modded 04 SI

I went a 15.8 with a 2.2 60ft... powershifting gears nicely, not hitting the rev limiter... whats the deal? Do these cars just die at the 330ft?

I have intake, header, catback, and dr's

lower 60 ft helps. stock ep3 runs around what you ran, must be the driver

what is your reaction time? what are you shifting at?

reaction time has nothing to do with 1/4 mile time. I never understood why people always think this.

What were the conditions at the track, remember elevation, temp, and all that play a role.

Traction wasn't a huge issue... eleveation in E Town in NJ isn't pretty close to sea level. Temperature wasn't to hot, although pretty humid.

What should intake, header, and catback get you?

There is 1 1/4 pipe from the header to the muffler... think that could be the problem?

I've heard bone stock EP's run as fast as 15.6's in the 1/4 mile. I guess it was just your weather, or maybe a bad launch, etc. By the way, are you sure you powershifted? Because having I/H/E, powershifting, Drag Radials, and still running a 15.8 seems really slow.

Thats what i'm saying, and yes powershifting... throttle never left the floor until the race ended... ran a 2.2 60ft on a 15.8... that's a pretty good launch I think.

1/8 mile was 10 seconds... it seems like i'm launching pretty hard then just falling off.

What should an intake, header, and exhaust run in a the 1/4 with dr's?

from most of the time slips i've read on EPHatch.com, that time seems just alittle off, but not by far... not bad... a lower 60ft may do it... but i think ur time's about right... wut kind of tires?
