we use the 3" big ol drill thing... for like drywall... you know... hey! it was FREE!!

It reduces drag, air gets trapped in the rear bumper cover and increases drag on the rear end. Diffusers release the trapped air creating a free flowing chassis.

Its to let air that would usually get trapped in the bumper, which would cause drag, to flow through. A sore to the eyes but useful IMO. But when I saw this thread I was expecting NSX, SKYLINE style diffusers not holes in the bumper.

i think those things look stupid on cars. alot of kids around here have them on their stock eg's. one guy just cut out a big rectangle and put chicken wire in it.

I do not mean to talk bad about the almighty NSX but that thing looks like ****, straight up.

P.S. Unless your running 8's or something crazy, save the poor bumper the pain.

seeing as how that nsx is the fastest NA nsx in the us his main concern is weight savings and that piece helped save a ton of weight.

But supposedly this saves alot of time on 1/4 for cheap. I remember Super street did that on one of their project cars saved .2 on the 1/4.

don't you have some better pics of that car from last year's meet in nashville? or was that a different nsx?
