Ok, I just got back from the dragstrip last night and all night the car had the same problem. Whenever I tried to lauch it hard, the transmission (manual) never seemed to want to go into second or third gear. Now, sometimes it would work and if I didn't drive it as hard, shifting usually wouldn't be a problem. Could the synchros be messed up??

So, are you saying that it has a hard time going into gears at high rpms?

 

yes, that's pretty much it.

 

I had the same prob, evryone told me it was either my clutch or synchros or both. I have the lsd trans with a SPEC stage 3 clutch/flywheel. So what I did is this; First I used the synchromesh(it helped quite a bit), zip tied my cables every 2"(made shifting a little more solid) and then I bought the Forbiden Motorsports true short shifter and that made a WORLD of difference. My H finally feels and shifts like a "rod" shifter again. I am sure all these things helped me but the shifter is what made the biggest difference. For like $125 shipped, go for it....
