i am gonna paint my car and i was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with kirker paints...here is the link of the paint i am planning on buying...

To be honest I have never heard of Kirker, I would strongly suggest PPG over Dupont anyday.

its just that im not lookin for a 2k paint job...ii want something that will look nice and clean

I understand what your saying........but you get what you pay for

 

go PPG...higest quality stuff on the market

im taking autobody class and this dude sprayed some no name brand white paint made by "montana" and sprayed DUpont clear coat and turned out great, im only 17 and dont know much about paint but in my experience in paint, clear coat matters more than base

 

kirker sucks. if your planning on keeping it go with ppg, dupont, hok, type brands. kirker will only look good for a year. i have been told by people that sprayed it. you also might want to look around for better deals on prices. smartshoppersinc has cheap prices but they rape you on shipping. look at their shipping charges on their site. they charge shipping based on your zip code and charge you at a percent based off your total order rather than weight of order. the owners son is on a lowrider forum that i go to and i've talked to him about this and they are now looking into having this changed to be more competitive with other online stores shipping charges.
