? about GSR and LS tranny with 24.5" slicks??
I have searched and with my Hoosier 24.5X9.5X13" slicks they will kill me up top with a LS tranny. Well I bought a JDm LS motor and the tranny I have is a Y80. I know that the GSR's came with 2 different trannys the Y80 and S80. My friend has a 98 integra with a S80 and my other friend has a GSR with a S80. So would I have a GSR tranny then if my friend with teh GSR got stuck with a LS tranny? I don't know where I can find the info on what trannys are what etc.
My main ? is what tranny do I have and with my setup will the slicks I have kill me at the end of the track? If there is any other advice please post. I have searched before and found nothing and now it's time to ask.
My setup
93 civic hatch fully gutted
95 b18b (stock internals)
turbonetics t3/t4e 50 trim .48A/R
Tial wastgate (5.6 PSI spring)
RFL BOV (rice)
BMC race log manifold
2 1/2" IC piping
JRCIC 6" IC
2 1/2" D-pipe
3" full exhaust no cat no res. magnaflow muffler
DSM injectors
Uberdata
At the track I will up the boost to 11PSI and have a pretuned chip the day before for that amount of boost.
Thanks in advance

For 11psi... gsr or b16 tranny would be better suited for you... Also, the slicks you're using a too wide, 24.5x8.5 should be good enough for traction.
