Rev Limiter
Does anyone know how to get rid of your rev limiting out at like 7100? i have seen EP3's go all the way and past 8 grad, let me kno cuz thats were all the power starts to kick in at, and i need it
To raise the rev limit, you'll need to get a Hondata upgrade. The basic re-flash sets it to 7500, and the K-100 or K-Pro upgrades give the control to set a rev-limit by either a professional tuner/any shmuck with a laptop. A couple of notes, though, before you go about doing this.
First off, our rev limiter is set at 6800... the tach isn't accurate.
Second, our car does NOT make more power above that... so you're actually not going any faster by increasing the rev range, you're only risking damage, which leads me to...
Third, if you're going to increase the rev limit, and use that increased range frequently, you're running the risk of valve float.

i bumped my rev limiter up so that i can swing the tack needle around twice.......i uses 2 pieces of gum foil and a beer cap...lodge those into your ignition to disable the ecu's rom bootup
