Sounds like the symptoms of blown headgasket.

Drain the oil and check it.

Yup, Its a headgasket. Take off the oil cap and notice the milky white residue: its antifreeze.

I had the same thing a couple weeks ago....oil in water and water in oil. But my compression was fine, car still ran great except would overheat at low speeds.

Went to chagne the headgasket, but it was fine. ****

SSure enough, cracked the head in between some of the oil/water galleys. Sent it to garage for a compression test & magnaflux to find this out.

It sucks, but sounds the same to me. I would definitely have your head checked to be sure though, cost me just over $30.

its a manual. headgasket was change not so long ago. its a bitch to diagnose this. all i did was drain the oil n coolant. there was about 1.5quart. so the rest was in the cooling system.

You got no choice bro, it's the head-gasket. You won't be able to see where it's leaking, cause the HEAD is on top of it. 99% of the time when your oil is milky, you gotta blown head-gasket.

OK, well I will be the first to truely give you hope. Although, I am putting my money on cracked block/head...... Because head gasket tends to mix both ways... But, pull the plugs and use a flashlight to look for water anyways.... Thats an easy step one... Now, for the possible good news... You mentioned oil cooler and you are completely right... There is a miniscule possibility this could be it... Because oil maintains such a higher pressure right there, it is possible for it to seep through a crack into the coolant and not have the coolant return the favor... But, dont put your $$ on it... Its bad news no matter how you look at it...

Dont you wish your car didnt idle right?

in case it isnt the head gasket how would you go about warping or cracking the head. would excessive high rpm driving do it. and if so will i need a new head or can i have it machined.

First of all....if your head itself is blown, there's about a snowball's chance in hell that your head can be fixed. If the head is warped, it can be machined down to flat again, but it has it's limits.

As far as how the head blew - I'm about 98% sure that I blew mine after the jackass garage I took the car to put in either a wrong or a cheap thermostat. Thermostat not activate = cooked head.

Had no problems before it was "serviced".

-----

Maybe a better definition of "excessive high rpm driving" would help but if you're driving around and keep burying the tach - something's gonna give eventually even in the best car (and it usually ain't cheap!).

uppdateeee. i took off the oil cooler and it is clogged. meaning i use a garden hose shoot the water in one end(where coolant goes in) and it doesnt come out the other end. it seems to be pressurise so water go out the same places it went in.

I then replace that, add coolant and oil. test drive and let it idles for a long while but stil the same ****; however, my oil level remains the same, which mean oil is not geting into the cooling system.

Change the oil and flush the coolant, drive it for a while and let us know what it looks like afterwards.

It may have been the oil cooler.
