I've decided I want to do a manual conversion in my automatic DelSol. I know I need a new tranny, ecu and some other things. Could you guys fill me in on the other things. I have a crappy memory. And would it be ok to get a B16 tranny for a little while with the D16 because I plan on doing a JDM B16A swap after I convert it. Probably not, but I thought I'd ask.

 

First of all please search. But i did it for ya cause i felt nice, and NO you cant use a b series tranny with your d motor.

There are many many threads about this, these are only 2 i felt like posting.

 

just sell the car and buy a manual the trouble is just not worth it unless you have a junked car next to you with all parts to just pull and stick in bad idea to do
