b16 smoke when give it gas
OK i have a B16 and i justed changed my oil 5w 30 moblie 1. i started the car and let it warm up then i went for a little drive. after it was at normal temp.. i brang it up to maybe 55 RPM and i noticed smoke coming from my exhuast.. then i did it again and more came out. alot of smoke was coming out so i just drove it home.. does anyone know what this could be.. also while i was driving i heard a lound pop but im not sure if that was my exhuast or not. so any help guys thanks!!!!

check ur oil level. then check the antifreeze.. u should get a good idea of what it is after doing that
do a compression test on ur motor

#1 Put your hand in front of the exhaust and see if it becomes soaking wet with water. That means you're getting coolant / water into your cylinders.
#2 before startup while the radiator is cold, open the radiator cap, make sure you can see the water line, if not, fill it up to the water line so you can see it. Start the car, if you see little bubbles coming up the radiator, that means your cylinders are pushing air into the coolant while it lets coolant into the cylinder.
If it just feels wet but you take it away and your hand isn't dripping water, thats normal.
And there are no bubbles in any radiator/coolant system without the headgasket being blown.

ok i have read a few times on her that WHITe smoke is always coolant.... that is NOT true my roommate got his injector stuck and the smoke was WHITE not black or blue it was WHITE new injector no smoke, so although im not saying that this is your problem i just wanted you to know white smoke isn't always coolant
