Default Swap issues

Just dropped a 97 b18b in a 96 hatch, everything is plugged up. Well when i go to start, it turns over and sounds like it wants to start but it doesn't catch. I need suggestions on things to check that could relate to the problem. thanks

Are you getting spark? pull a plug and crank it over.
Are you getting fuel? crank it with the spark plug out and stick your nose in there, try to smell some fuel. Also check your fuel pressure.
How is your timing? If this is wrong, you can have fuel and spark but no start.

Also try the hybrid forum they know their stuff

Bad fuel pump maybe? Did it work before the swap?

make sure that crank position sensor is connected. Make sure that plugs are good. Check the distributor cap and coil. If you have a spark, but the car still isnt' starting, check the firing order.

ecu, ignition coil packs, get a diagnosis and see where the signal stops - thats why your not gettin a spark

Wiring bro, no spark, new parts it has to be wiring. Check for voltage at the big wires to the dizzy with the key in the ON position. One will have 12v, can't remember if it's BLK/WHT of BLK/YEL, pretty sure it's BLK/WHT though. No CELS though?
