I am thinking of selling my Recaro seats, as everything in my interior is black and I want to redo my interior with either a orange/black or blue/black color scheme to either match or contrast my car. Anyway, just wondering what I might expect to get for this pair of Recaro seats (see pic). Pretty good condition except for one spot, which may be able to be removed and one spot that was stitched at one time. Also, both seats are drivers seats, no big deal, just dial is on the left for both seats.

^My teg is the copper one. Since then, decals have been removed, wheels changed, and different CF hood.

 

Stereo has also been completely redone and will be finished by mid May. Also, thinking of changing body kit, as I don't like how the side skirts come way the hell up on the body. Tinkering with the thought of doing some more motor work, internals, etc. to handle more boost, but don't know how much I am going to get done for like $5k

 

2 USDM driver's seats? $700-850? JDM SRDs seem to be goin for a little under a grand now, so that seems fair.

BTW- if you go for the blue and black look, just get some Recaros from an Evo 8...they're really nice. They go for a lot less than the $700-850 I'm guessing you can get for those seats.

Yea I'm thinking somewhere between $700-$800. The fact that they are both driver seats might turn some people off. It might be worth it to you to part them out and sell seperately since they are both the same side.

Edit: If you decide to part out I may be interested. I'm in MA.

I like the idea of orange and black better but there are far less orange/black things to buy vs. blue/black, not to mention that the orange wouldn't really match my car and would probably be difficult to match the shades of orange for each piece. any suggestions on the color scheme?

 

Are those seats real? The stitching of the "RECARO" look so fake..

I would say black with a liiitle blue, if you wanna accent the interior. Orange and black would be too much, not to mention any orange you find it gonna be brighter than the exterior of your car. If you do the blue accents with restraint, I think it'll look good!

 

what does anyone think about the seats in the following link. i like the 2nd link a little better. less blue and reclineable, but neither of them are any name brand. i would like to be sporting sparco or recaro

maybe the recaro employee who stiched it only had one hand.....my uncle has no legs and manufactures running shoes so i guess anything is possible. but i'd say 750-800ish for the pair....may be better to seperate.

 

yes, I figured I would get a few ******* posts, but I don't give a **** anymore. I bought the 'teg w/ the conversion and the wing. I am not one of these people that if I have the conversion then everything else on the car must be JDM oriented w/ no ricey **** at all. the car actually looks half decent with this wing, and that's why it's still on.
