Need a Couple of Good 215 Azenis... 2nd Try Dammit
So we had this great deal set up. Allan was letting us have two 205/50/15 Azenis at about 2/3rds tread for $50. These would go on the back of the car while the two BRANDY NEW tires from Andy Hollis would go on the front.
It was a great plan. One that would've had us covered for tires well into next year for about $200.
Then <insert profanity> FedEx LOST ALLAN'S TIRES!!!
Lost them. As in "We're sorry but we don't know where they are."
Now I have two new 215 Azenis which is just plain awesome given that the car has 4 wheels on it.
At least Allan had the shipment insured.
So if anybody has two Azenis with at least half tread that they want to sell, IM me.
On the flipside, if anybody is interested in 2 BRAND NEW Azenis (with stickers still on them) for $150 plus shipping (not FedEx) you can IM me as well.
205/50/15.
Scott, who says "I love it when a plan comes together."

Funny, that was the last thing I heard too.

don't write them off just yet. I used to handle all of the shipping at my old company and used FedEx exclusively since we had a lot fewer $30k paperweights after other companies destroyed amps, projectors, etc. While losses are going to occur, the only 2 I ever had with FedEx in a year turned up a few weeks later. One was because the label got damaged but they were able to trace it back to me so it turned back up to me. The other one was a small package that got left on a truck when it broke down. Anyway, just wanted to let you know there's still hope that they'll show up at one of your doorsteps.
I might be interested in the 3/32 tires if the shoulders look good Nate. I have to be practical about the tires being worth the cost of shipping and mounting them.
But based on the above post, I think I'll wait at least one more week before pulling the trigger on plan B.
Who knows. They may show up.
I'd think it'd be pretty hard to "lose" something as big as two tires bundled together. Even with someone as big as FedEx.

Sorry for the few week delay with the pictures.

Some slight chunks out of the outter edge of one.. and some cupping on the inner edge of a few.
They are thinner than I led you to belive.
No over heating that I can see/detect.
I hate to ship.
Maybe someone else would want them if you pass.
