Default 2 step: location of switch and how many degrees retard?

How many degrees of timing are you guys retarding with the 2 step on your car, how much boost are you getting, and what size turbo are you running? How much timing retard is too much when running the 2 step?

Also, how do you have the switch set up on the car? I am thinking about having the 2 step wired to the clutch neutral saftey switch. Anything wrong with that if you do not press the clutch all the way to the floor when shifting?

BTW, I am using the MSD DIS-2 programmable.

I have the AEM EMS and it has a 2-step function. I have it setup to be deactivative by vehcile speed. It depends how what rpm I launch at how much boost I'll make. When I had the SC-61 on my LS lauching at 5500rpms. I was building 11psi off the line. I would probably built more boost than that, but that how much boost I was running.

Since I am using the MSD, I have to activate and deactivate the 2 step by a switch. With the AEM, the 2 step is working by retarding timing not by fuel, right?
