Atwater Pro Solo....Who's In?
Who will be running the Atwater Pro Solo? Which Class?
I will be running my 91 Civic Si in STS. The class looks really tough. Ken, Kevin, Andy & special guest star Bret Norgaard
This will be a fun battle.

I'll be running. Hopefully I can trophy against all you tough guys. 
Hopefully I'll put on a good show for the Tour in SS. I'll be driving a Henry Bjoin's 2003 Z06...now that, my friends, should be entertaining to watch.

Like Jeff says, I'm in. Might have some different tires to try out.
Funny story: We are in San Diego right now a week early for Atwater and arrived on Saturday so I could fix my daughter's car (our old 93 MX6 that won everything nationally in HS back in 95). Had to put in a new clutch master (thanx to James Wilson for the remote diagnosis!).
Anyway, we are there in the parking lot next to her apartment (Mission Beach) in the motorhome trailering the Civic, when in drives this nice teal 91 hatch, lowered, Sparco seats and Falkens. Hmmm...I think. Turns out its Jeff, who I've never met in person. He was there to play volleyball. Very small world.

PS: Can't wait to see Kenny in the Z06. That should be worth the price of admission! Oh wait...its free to watch.

Small world. I pulled into the parking lot, and see a white Civic decorated with all kinds of race decals, and think to my self "hey that looks like an STS Civic." I even wondered if it was you on your way to Atwater. I put 120 miles on my 91 on Saturday and Sunday alone driving to the beach and back to play volleyball, and that doesn't include driving it to work on Friday.
It was nice getting to finally meet you Andy, and look forward to running against you at the Pro.
Hey Ken, when are you coming down to volleyball on Thursdays? Gary tells me that you have been in training to improve your Vball skills.

Huh, and I was going to come down to play V-ball that day but got caught up doing some things...Perhaps this Thursday I'll come down.
I haven't exercised at all Jeff. I've just watched my diet a lot more. My weight went from a high of 163 to 145 but I'm a stable 148 now. My vertical leap is probably half that of an NFL WR. Oh well, I'll just hustle as I usually do. Hopefully I won't injure to many people.
Nino's Integra is working very well I might add- I think Brett/Nino will be a fearsome pair to watch for. I want to run STS but can't pass up the opportunity to drive Henry's Z06. At the last Cal Club event (and the only championship event I've driven a Z06), I was 67 thousandths from beating Tom Berry PAX and beat Scott McHugh. I was pretty aghast to say the least.

But I'll just hope to be competitive with the top dudes in SS. We'll see what happens.

Ooooo, me, me!!! Have so much to do still, burning yet another vacation day tomorrow to get the car ready. Hopefully it'll be enough time, and hopefully I can be faster than the Civics in the luxopigmobile!
STS is going to be a great battle. If it's anything like Fontana, the final winner will be decided by reaction times...
