won't you need to drill some holes before you can use it, though? no big deal, but it doesn't fit right on without doing so, correct?

Holes MAY need to be drilled.
Some have them there w/ gromets in them, some have nothing.
Either way, its no big deal to whip out the drill and make some holes

My 2000 HX didn't come with holes, but you could see where they would go. There's like a little notch for each hole.
