so i finally decided to join HT..im on hondahookup under the same name..anyways i just wanted to say thanx alot to Rywire.com they helped me out alot wit my harness and i loved the way it turned out...great customer service and all that good ****..anyhow quick question for you guys (at rywire)...i got my jkobd0 to obd1 subharness and i connected it but somethin that i still cant figure out is, what are the blue and orange wires that go from the engine bay harness part..to the actuall ecu subharness...it has a black plug with 10 wires then theres the orange and blue ones that arent in the plug...help would greatly appreciated

those are knock sensor and something else...its in your instructions. those are for nothing for your car..well i guess it dpends on what you are doing..but what i use them for (mini me) when there is a check engine light you touch those two tother to flash you the code on the dash

99teggsr what youre sayin is that i really dont have to connect them to anythin just leave em as they are...then when my cel starts throwin me codes connect them together to see what the codes are

You can wire those to a toggle to check codes. 1 position is normal condition when the cel goes on and off, the other position flashes the codes on the dash. You can also just tape them, and if theres a code, join them. I suggest a toggle.

alright i shall do that...thanx alot..and one more thing that i noticed yesterday that i couldnt find on the instructions...theres a set of four wires that look like they belong in a plug, since they appear to have pins...the colors are red, purple, yellow...and i believe blue..but im not certain exactly...what are they for or where do they go..sorry for the stupid questions but i just couldnt figure this out

LOL, did you see the instruction sheet? The red and yel are the 2 added injectors, and the purple and blu are the 2 added cps. Yes you need those!!

Here is the copy of install instructions for you. If you dont understand exactly your car wont start, so call me if needed and I will explain.
