you'll all love this. wiring harness fun.
well, since im stripping my bay, i figured this would cut down on the clutter.
notes:
14 year old eletrical tape is NASTY.
honda sucks at keeping **** neat. wires looped through wires through wires through wires through wires through wires.....

well, 2 hours in, im like 80% done, a bit confused, and out of tape.
haha. it should look great once its all tucked away.
im confused on 2 things.
one is a plug, the other is a socket. they fit together, and share the same black wire with a yellow stripe. the socket one has that black/yellow wire and a black/white wire.
the plug one has that black/yellow wire, and a slightly thinner solid blue wire.
if anyone knows, or has a wiring diagram for a b16a3.. lemme know.

Exactly. I'll keep my engine bay "untucked". Good luck though

its not confusing if you do it with the harness sill connected in the engine bay.
then you can be sure to shorten all the wires to the perfect length, and solder on the fly.
you wouldn't believe the rats nest that i had to start with

not sure what wiring harness that is.. but if anyone else can chime in.. i'm pretty sure that all of your red? wires go to the left of each injector (if you were looking at the car from the front).. but the ones to the right have to be in the right spots

so are your injector plug wires red, blue, yellow, and brown by chance?

i have the wiring diagrams for the engine harness of a d16y7 and an h22a.
if they both have the injectors in the same order according to the same yellow, blue, brown, red colors, i think its safe to assume that it will be the same order for your bee series. i cant remember off the top of my head.
please stand by while i go find those papers on my desk.

confirmed, it was the same on both the h22a diagram and d16 diagram:
brown - inj 1
red - inj 2
blue - inj 3
yellow - inj 4
now im almost positive that injector # 1 is on the passenger side if you are looking over your engine from the front bumper of your car.
if you need confirmation of that, youll have to wait until the AM. theres a storm passing through tonight and my car is outside. ehh

ok, we got the same answer. i thought #1 was the furthest to the right, over by the cam gears. and #4 was over by the dizzy.
like i said i can check in the morning, but knowning the valuable source of honda-tech archives, you'll probably have the correct answer before dawn anyhow......
i can only find the injector order info for d series and h series engines.
the order for d series was just as you said, with number one at the cam gears and number 4 at the dizzy.
the order for h series it is also as you said with number 1 at the cam gears.
so i guess its safe to assume that b series would be just the same.
i love honda for the consistancy
happy wiring!
