I got my free tune up today but they told me i needed some other repairs:
Rocher arm seals leaking oild, #2 cylinder? oil leak in my #2 cylinder? Quoted $205
P/S flush ? power steering flush?
Top end inj clean? carbon build up on my fuel injectors ?Quoted $120

rocker arm seals leaking in cylinder??? are you getting oil in the cylinder or is there oil where the spark plug wire.....if you can see oil when you remove the plug wire you might just need spark plug seal they go bad a lot , just remove valve cover and replace the 4 seal that you see when you flip cover upside down if a shop does the jog,, seals are about $ 3-4 dollars each labor about 1/2 hr ,, depends on their houly rate cant be more than $ 35-40 in labor ...forget about p/s fluid flush it is a rip off trust me dont do it .. throttle body + inject service it is a good idea to do if you have at least 60k miles and never had 1 done price $ 120 it is about right

I got the same recomendation on my free tune up. Power Steering flush. They also recomended an engine flush which I know I don't need as it has just been done. Must do that based on milage. They also said my parking light was out and wanted 9.95 to fix it. Checked when I got home and it was not out, burning just fine. I guess I should give them the benifit of the doubt as it may go off and on. Not sure what to think but my power steering does need a flush so they where right on one thing. I guess they are batting .333 on suggestions. State Line Honda in Moyock NC. 79.99 quoted for power steering flush.

anytime the dealer does something for free, they are going to come at you for extra services to re-coup the cost
