Default rear mounted turbo on accord?

A few days ago i read about a "rear mounted turbo" (turbo mounted at the muffler section) i believe it was for an integra... i Know this would give you horrible lag and that makes a lot of sense. Is there any benefit to this set up though? maybe cheaper? anything?

only benefit is lower underhood temps for turbo'd cars. cons for the setup are too many to list. it was designed for v8 cars that have no room underhood for turbo setups. cheaper b/c you don't need a turbo manifold, but that's cancelled out by extra piping and separate oil system that has to be mounted in the rear.

sounds like that crap the t/a and camaro guys use... ghey STS turbo kit.

remotely locating the turbo like that it is more costly and inefficient than a normal kit for us honda guys.

I just cannot see a nice clean slammed honda with a turbo hanging under the *** of the car... , esp. in any kind of weather condition but dry/ sunny.

none the less... somone would probably end up stealing your damn turbo.

sounds like sort of a waste of a turbo to me, if you got a honda it makes more sense to just put it after the headers
