cv boot ripped?

Default cv boot ripped?

alrite i was messin around with my driver side suspension.. i was gonna change the springs but i couldnt get the 2 nuts on top of the koni's apart so i decided to leave it as it is. alrite.. before i put it back in i realized my CV boot was off.. so im like it was probably when my suspension came out it popped out.. now i got ppl tellin me it might of ripped.. heres a pic.. but has anyone run into this situation?

btw.. its the left sided CV boot.. when u look at it from the rotor..

All you need is a new cv boot. They're real easy to put on. I've replaced 2 of mine already. When you buy one, they should give you axle grease also

Yeah, it's called ripping a CV boot. I've replaced 1 from regular wear, and one that I took a knife to by accident (long story).

so its def. ripped? i mean it doesnt feel like it ripped on the open end of it. i dunno unless it ripped perfectly evenly.

Better hurry and fix it before anything solid gets in there, then you'll need a whole new axle.

Just keep packing more grease in there and hope for the best

And if something does happen, autozone axles are cheap as ****.

well the thing is i didnt drive it with it off, it came off when i was doing the spring.. and the car is still just sittin there. so it shouldnt have sand or anythin in it. any DIY guides for CV boot changes?
