Default Looking for these springs

I was looking to drop my crx but the roads here are horrible so Im trying to steer away from coilovers. Does anyone know of any springs on the market that will get me about as low as the yellow crx in the pic? Probably gona run size 195/50/15 tires and I just wanna have the tires tuckin' a bit.

I've done a few searches but all the threads I came across with pics, they were down

I dont get it... if your roads are horrible how is a regular spring gonna be any better then a coilover if you still want it that low?

Btw... I doubt there are any springs that go that low. Thats about as far down as my GC coilovers would go.

I have some skunk2 lowering springs that are about that low...the ride is nice in them....the don't handle as well as I had hoped for but the ride is pretty smooth. They aren't too low just low enough so that I can still get my car onto my lift

I figured the ride would be better with springs because I rode in my friends car with coilovers and omg,you start getting used to bracing yourself when you see a bump coming in order to survive the whiplash

Yeah I know what you're talking about. Some of the roads around me are pretty bad too and my last CRX had Ground Control coilovers and tokico shocks. It was rough, but I got used to it (until I bent a wheel). My new crx has koni yellow adjustable shocks and oem height H&R springs and is braced upper and lower, front and back... its awesome.

But still, if you go that low it will be rough on both coilovers and springs. Not to mention most shocks arent meant to be used with springs that low and will blow easily and it will void the warrenty.

I wish the OMNIS could drop 4in. they barely even tuck the tire when the spring is dropped. Thats just the fronts though. The front shocks are just to long IMO.

could you give me more info on that? I've never been able to get a straight answer...i've seen the pix of your hatch with the omni's, but I'd like some details.
How low does it drop when you drop the spring perch all the way?

there was a whole thread about omnis on ef's. its like a 4 inch drop w/ the preset all the way down. most of the people on the thread said it actually handled better like that than w/ the preload set.

heres the link to the ef omni thread:

im really not so sure about the 4" drop on omni's...
read this thread
https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=3
then read user ShAAdiiiNG's post...thats not a 4 inch drop by any means, AND he has neglected the preload AND dialed the shock body all the way up

well then why are some cars lower in the front and some arnt?

that one is pretty low and still has about 1-2 inches it looks like from the pic of where his perches are set. would the cars that got the omnis before they were actually made for the ef have the lowering problem maybe? the ones that had to use the eg fronts w/ the eg forks?

anyways back on topic of the springs...the user " the bee guy " has/had the sprints on his crx. i just p.md him for pics so if i get them i will post.
