Default 96 Accord CEL Code ?'s

My brother picked up this car today and it has a few problems.

It's throwing 3 codes.

1. Code P0135 (bank 1 o2 sensor)
2. Code P0141 (bank 2 o2 sensor)
3. Code P0401 (EGR malfunction)

Do I need to just replace the o2 sensors?

I'm thinking I can clean the EGR to fix that but I'm not 100% sure.

I did a compression test on it as well.

170 160 170 170

I put a cap full of oil in cyl 2 and it jumped up to 180.
I'm thinking the rings might be just a little worn.

Do these compression #'s look normal for the f22b1 motor?

Also the spark plugs were on the lean side, would the egr problems
have anything to do with that?

Thanks for the help fellas

You might try cleaning the egr first, then reset the codes after that. If the light comes back on and shows the same codes, you may either need both o2 sensors, or a cat.

P0135 & P0141 are for the heater circuits for those sensors. Check fuses, & check wiring before buying sensors. On each sensor, the 2 same-color (black?) wires are for the heater. Should be 15 to 40 ohms between them, with no continuity to ground.
