Here is the problem my check engine light is on, but when i go to check the codes, nothing flashes. Im thinking my O2 sensor, it shot. I was pulling code 1 last week. I changed out sensors and no code flashes. I am not running the secondary o2 sensor, due to a high flow cat im running. But im not even getting any codes for that. Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated

 

how are you checking the code? are you plugging in a pin or wire to the diagnostic plug under the glove box?

 

yes, im shorting the service connector.

 

That's what my hybrid does sometimes...sometimes I throw a CEL, but sometimes I don't. I'm thinking it's the O2.

 

its such a pain, im definitly thinking its the o2 sensor.

 

Bad O2 sensor on a 2001 GSR? Have you been running a lot of race gas?
