Hi. I have a 96 accord ex. i am doing the full manual/h22 swap. Everything was going smooth, aside from a few parts that my mechanic said i needed. Everything was peachy until it came time to start the car. My mechanic wired the obd1 ecu to work with my obd 2 car and it started and ran for 5 seconds and cut off. He double and triple checked the wiring and tried again. This time nothing happened. So I went and bought the skunk2 obd2-ob1 wiring harness and he plugged it up and tried again, with the same results. Nothing happened. So I've been without my car for about 2 months. All i want to know is is my car supposed to start with just hooking up the conversion harness. I have looked everywhere for help (sport compact car used a 94 obd1 not 96-97 obd 2.) and badly need my car back before my ship gets underway. Thanx
