ignighters dont last 30 days
when replacing the ignitor dont forget the white paste your supposed to put on the ignitor before installing. the white paste helps the heat transfer off the ignitor faster. heat is what kills ignitors.
because they are old...the white paste or the lube in the bearing has degraded.....you wanna save your dizzy? put more heatsink paste on the igniter, and more lube for the bearings(axle grease) works wonders

check the resistence of the ground, from the negative terminal of the battery to the dizzy.
if you have high resistence you could be shortening the life of electrical components since its stuggling to send that power back to ground.
also is this an OEM dizzy or distributor king or some Duralast autozone piece of ****?
could also be a bad design to the unit itself, not every honda part is perfect.
but i know nothing of ZC's specifically.

also, if you have "performance" plug wires, go back to stock. the "performance" ones have much lower resistance, which causes more current to flow through, causing the igniter to heat more.
