golden eagle ls/vtec conversion kit question.....
i just bought the ls/vtec conversion kit off ebay and it came with a stock brand new gsr head gasket..... i thought when you do ls/vtec, your supposed to use an ls head gasket. correct me if im wrong with the ge kit...
thanks
thanks
I just installed my ge kit. The h.gasket that comes with the kit looks weird but it works. It is supposed to be a stock ls gasket if your not using the the ge kit. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1161948 here's a link with some pics

GE rocks, i'm using their ls/vtec conversion kit, arp head studs, and sandwitch plate for my turbo and vtec oil feed.

We don't make rods. We get that all the time. Eagle Specialty Products ( rods and cranks ) is a completely different company that Golden Eagle Mfg. Don't worry, you are not the first, and won't be the last, to confuse the two companies
No worries

Not sure about your full conversion kit, but I do know that your dowel pins really help out the procedure.
to GE dowel pins!

Everyone who put together their own conversion kit says to use the ls but with the research that Ge has put in their kit (and the liability they face if they screw up) if they say the gsr works great I'm sure it does. I'm using the GE kit and mine fit fine. The dowel pins they provided really helped out
