What do you recommend for fitment of an EG radiator?
Hey guys I bought a Fluidyne half-raditaor so that I will be able to stuff a turbo onto my CRX later. Well as we all know, the radiator is kinda tall. So I am going to need to replace some parts. I am thinking about getting this from Full-Race.

What do you guys think of Full-Race's traction bars for this setup? Does anyone have any experience with it? Thanks people.

Ok, I am probably just going to end up getting the Z10 traction bar instead from Modacar tomorrow when I go on break...
NOOOOOOOO!!! get the Full Race traction bar and their new EF PWR shorty radiator. I dont know if you know this, but the Z10's were actually designed by the same guys that designed the FR tracbar. If you go with the FR setup, you get their excellent customer support. The FR gang helped me out with an issue I was having with my FR tracbar when I first installed it, and they helped me out.
Go FR, you'll be glad you did...here is a pic of the radiator installed. Does that engine bay look familiar?

Ok I actually already have the Fluidyne half radiator. My question is, is there something wrong with the Z10 bar? You said it was designed by the same people. Is there not as much customer support or something? Thanks for the reply.

There was a post about it a long time ago I think in the EF forum acrchives. I think Geoff from FR was posting about the differences between the Z10 and new FR tracbars. I think the customer service would be better with FR, because about 2-3 of them are members on this site. Those are just the ones I know about.
I ended up selling my Fluidyne radiator and I sold it at a discounted price even though it was used 1-2 weeks. From the posts I've read on here, the Fluidyne wont fit in the Z10 bars either.
If you want to now about hte Z10 vs FR tracbar contact FR and ask them about it. I'm not 100% sure if they are the ones to design the Z10, so you can ask them.

No, the Fluidyne wont fit. Unless you lean it waaaay back, but then you might run into clearance issues with your DP or WG setup. I know if I had leaned my radiator back it would have hit my DP and DT on my Revhard/B18C setup. I tried sitting the radiator behind the traction bar, but it would still hit.
The best thing to do is to just get the PWR shorty and take the loss. The PWR shorty was not even out yet when I bought the Fluidyne radiator, and somebody said to make it fit you just had to lean it "a little". Well I found out the hard way that the person that said that was full of ****.
