Default Bolting on a cylinder head

Do i need to oil the cylinder head bolts before i bolt it on or can i just bolt it on as is? Does it cause any kind of harm if i don't oil the cylinder head bolts?

You need to use some sort of lubricant for the threads. This helps to get an accurate torque reading when you install them. YOU MUST DO THIS!!!

Just lube them up with some oil...it'll only take a few seconds. Isn't hard bro...

lube the threads and under the head of the bolt. I would personally use some kinda of assembly lube but oil works to. Make sure you clean the threads of each rod bolt good and chase the threads in the block.
